4 dams for Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: The government has started considering plans to build four new dams in Balochistan. President Zardari has issued directives to Federal
Minister Babar Awan to consult with Baloch leaders on plans to build dams in the province.Baloch
leaders Nawab Khalid Gichki, Nawab Abdul Rehman and Yar Mohammad Jamali met President Asif Zardari here in the Capital, said the report of private
TV channel on Tuesday.

On the occasion, President Zardari said that poor women will be given free agriculture land in the areas where dams will be built.

Zardari said that the government wants trustworthy relationship. He said that baloch leaders living overseas should also play their role in national
politics.

“Everyone, including Balochis, will have to play their role for the stability of democracy”, President said, adding that the PPP does not believe in politics of
revenge.

The Baloch leaders could play important role in national politics after general amnesty.
