Government of Balochistan in Exile: Opening New Offices Throughout the World
Almost a month ago, on April 18, 2006, we (a loose group of Baloch nationalists from around the world) launched The Government of
Balochistan (GOB) in Exile, and introduced our government to the world through various articles on our official Blog over the Internet.
Our efforts have generated a very positive response from the Baloch community. Although there were few skeptics, but the majority
of the Baloch people have noticed our sincerity in serving the Baloch nation and offered their full support.

'An Expose': The Durand Line Agreement is Illegal
The argument between Afghanistan and Pakistan centers on the issue of Durand Line Agreement and its validity. But, the
Government of Balochistan (GOB) in Exile challenges the “legality” of the Durand Line Agreement between Afghanistan and British
India in 1893, not its “validity”. We believe that the Durand Line Agreement is an illegal agreement, and therefore, it is
null and
void.

An Open Letter to His Highness Mir Suleman Dawood Khan
Your Royal Highness
Groups of Baloch patriots from around the world have established The Government of Balochistan (GOB) in
Exile on April 18, 2006, and have nominated Your Highness as the King of Balochistan. But, it is your right to
turn down this nomination. You may decide to issue a public disclaimer that you have nothing to do with the
GOB (Exile). We will honor Your Excellency’s wishes and will not jeopardize your position in society. But,
we will continue with our mission to liberate Balochistan.

Economic Potential of Balochistan
Balochistan's colonizers, Iran and Pakistan, have used the argument that “resource-rich” Baloch territory cannot
sustain as an independent country! According to figures given below,
Balochistan has the potential to generate
$58 billion per year within a short span after gaining its independence.
The excuses given in the past by the
colonizers for totally neglecting Balochistan is that the major constraints in the industrial development have been
the lack or the absence of infrastructure, scattered nature of population, vastness of area, dearth of skilled labor,
social structure, tribal feuds and lack of marketing facilities.

Balochistan: A Democratic, Liberal, and Secular State on the Horizon
It is inevitable that Balochistan will become an independent country. The future of Balochistan is determined by the choices
we make today in nation-building. Our decisions could either propel us to emulate the best nations in the world, or drop us in
a bleak pit until we cease to exist. To assure that we are making the right decision for Balochistan, it is imperative that we
collectively brainstorm about constructive ideas for our new country. Fortunately, here at the Government of Balochistan
(GOB) in Exile, we have already discussed and short-listed various options.

Balochistan: A Catalyst for Global Change
As soon as the dust settles after Balochistan is liberated, we’ll find out about who are going to be the winners and
losers of this upheaval. We’ll also know if the world has turned into a safer place or it’s converted into a
perpetual war zone. Cartographers everywhere will return to their drawing boards and make necessary changes
to the world map. Computer programmers will rewrite code to update their software. Foreign offices in every
country will train their diplomats to deal with the new reality. Historians will publish new editions of their work.
And, the list can go on for what needs to be done to show that Balochistan along with numerous new countries
have blossomed and become the newest members of the United Nations.
