LONDON--
 The De Jure Ruler of Baluchistan, the Khan of Kalat Mir Suleman Daud Ahmedzai, on thursday
extended greetings to the people and the government of the United States on the 232nd Anniversary of
Independence.
He said when the freedom movement was launched in the U.S., Americans were willing to risk everything to achieve it. Ahmedzai said likewise
people of Balochistan have demonstrated their interests in freedom, equality and justice and did not shy way from writing that testimony with their
blood in the mountains of Baluchistan. "No amount of brute force, can crush the collective dream of a people, the U.S. struggle for independence
showed," he said.

He said peace and freedom are indvisible today when the world has turned into a global village and urged the people of the United States not to forget
about Baluchistan.

"As you celebrate this great day, I urge you to keep Baluchistan in your thoughts and prayers. I pay tribute to the Americans have responded to the call
of duty to uphold the ideals of freedom, justice and democracy in the most remote corners of the world," Ahmedzai concluded.

Balochistan admires the U.S. Declaration of Independence, he said in a statement on
the occcasion. "The Bill of Rights is testimony to the wisdom and statesmanship of
Founding Fathers of a living nation. The march towards freedom and equality, as
symbolized by the war of indepdence and subsequent civil rights movement in
America, will make any nation proud," Ahmedzai said.

Baluchistan is a Texas-sized region divided among Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan

He said Baloch people are facing multipe challenges in southwest Asia, primarily
because of unjust decisions and political expediencies of the past.


"Any one who loves his land and people can never be branded a traitor, the American
experience has shown," Ahmedzai said. "One person's traitors could be another
person's patriot," Ahmedzai said, pointing out Baloch have a dream to one day enjoy
the same kind of freedoms that U.S. citizens enjoy.
