Baloch nation hoodwinked by Punjabi controlled Pakistan

KALAT, Balochistan -- Resource rich Pakistani occupied Balochistan has brought windfall profits to
sprawling industries in Punjab and rest of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. But, ironically the indigenous
people of Balochistan, the proud, secular, liberal, democratic, and fiercely independent ethnic Baloch, are
abysmally poor.

people of Balochistan, the proud, secular, liberal, democratic, and fiercely independent ethnic Baloch, are
abysmally poor.
Pakistani military forces invaded Balochistan in 1948, and ever since then, the territory has been ruled as a colony for its natural resources,
strategic location and coastal region. To establish a firm control on the Baloch people, and suppress their aspirations for self-determination,
the Punjabi dominated Pakistani armed forces have become the colonial masters. They have established numerous military cantonments
throughout Balochistan supplemented with 600 plus Gestapo-style check posts to restrict movement of the local population. Occupied
Balochistan is now turned into a huge Guantanamo Bay type prison camp for the Baloch people.
The “Punjabi Raj” suppressed any signs of political ambitions for autonomy in occupied Balochistan using the following strategies:
These treacherous tactics of the Punjabi Raj hoodwinked many Baloch nationals. During the last 58 years of Pakistani occupation of
Balochistan, the Baloch leadership tried various means to tackle the Baloch nation’s grievances with the Punjabi Raj, but to no avail. Baloch
leaders initiated peaceful dialogues with the Pakistani rulers, but the Punjabi Raj made mere promises and nothing of substance was ever
delivered.
Out of shear desperation in dealing with the Punjabi Raj, the Baloch people retaliated four times in the past to gain “partial” autonomy of their
occupied territory so that they could address their problems instead of relying on someone else. But, the Pakistani rulers considered Baloch
retaliations as a threat to its occupation, and therefore, used the full might of its armed forces to ruthlessly crush any Baloch voice into
complete submission.
After years of remaining calm due to the oppressive governing policies of the Punjabi Raj, the Baloch people are awakened once again. This
time around, the Punjabi Raj has finally decided to deal the “final blow” and the Baloch know that it is the last round. A metaphor that best
describes the predicament of the Baloch people in occupied Balochistan is bullfighting, a national sport and spectacle of Spain. The object of
the game is for one of the bullfighters (Punjabi Raj)—the matador—to kill a wild bull (the Baloch nation) with a “final blow” of his sword.

- By kidnapping, arresting, torturing and murdering of Baloch political activists;
- By adopting the “Divide and Rule” policy to incite tribal disputes among various Baloch tribes so their focus would remain contained
within their tribal parameters; - Developing Islamic fraternal relations with the predominantly Muslim Baloch population to keep them subdued into believing that the
Punjabi Raj are their Muslim brethrens; - Restricting and neglecting infrastructure development in Balochistan to maintain their control on a resource-rich region that was
intentionally kept poor and destitute; and - Offer financial, political, and employment rewards to lure Baloch leadership to become loyal subjects of the Punjabi Raj.

administer pic (lance) thrusts, which tire the animal and cause him to lower his head; in

barbed sticks) on the withers of the bull; these often spur him into making livelier charges.
In the final segment the matador holds the muleta, a small cloth cape, in one hand, and a
sword in the other. Daring passes at the bull work to dominate the animal until it stands

who live in Pakistan, only 3.25 million currently reside in Balochistan. The military planners have already done their calculations for
Balochistan, and they have determined that they can kill one million Baloch nationals without any uproar from the international community.
Once the Punjabi Raj is done with the killings, they intend to create socio-economic obstacles for the remainder of the Baloch population
resulting in the displacement of more than a million Baloch refugees to foreign countries or other parts of Pakistan. The few that will survive
the onslaught and remain in Balochistan will barely cause any threat to the Pakistani occupation of Balochistan. This process will seal the
deal indefinitely for the Punjabi Raj in securing the natural resources, strategic location and coastal region of Balochistan.
The Baloch nation must understand the long-term ramifications of the current military operation by the Punjabi Raj in occupied Balochistan.
This is the “final blow”, and the survival of the Baloch people as a nation is at stake. Under the present circumstances, the Baloch people
have only two choices left: 1) Either to become a loyal subject of the Punjabi Raj and relish the rewards, or 2) Join the Baloch freedom
fighters to protect the extinction of the Baloch people as a nation.
The Government of Balochistan (GOB) in Exile is striving to unite the Baloch people under one flag, and fight for their survival as a nation.
The various Baloch factions and tribes must join hands and pledge an allegiance to a united front to battle the Punjabi Raj. According to
GOB (Exile), it is important to purge the Baloch nation of those loyalists who have joined the occupation forces at this critical juncture in
Baloch history. The only way for the Baloch people to survive as a nation is to liberate Balochistan NOW, or there will NEVER be a second
opportunity to do so. This is the last chance to dream of an independent Balochistan and struggle for it.
