Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to bring your attention to the deteriorating condition Of
Dr. Imdad Baloch, Chairman of Baloch student Organization (BSO), who is on
huger strike to death in front of Karachi Press club for the past 14 days, demanding the release of student leader
Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch and many
other illegally detained Baloch political activist from Pakistani jails.

Arrests, kidnappings and illegal detention of Baloch students, political workers and leaders by Pakistani police and intelligence agencies are a
routine in Balochistan. After severe mental and physical torture, they are either made paralyzed or killed. Judiciary seems Indifferent and human right
organizations are helpless in this regard. All of this has forced Dr. Imdad Baloch, Chairman of Baloch Students Organization (BSO) to go on hunger
strike till death in front of Karachi Press Club from 3rd of October 2005, till today.

Dr. Imdad Baloch was himself abducted by Pakistani intelligence agencies from Karachi on 25th March 2005 with six other BSO members, namely
Dr. Allah Nazar (former Chairman BSO), Dr. Yousuf (Press Secretary BSO), Ghulam Rasool (member Central Committee of BSO), Dr. Naseem (ex
Central Committee member of BSO), AIi Nawaz and Akhtar Nadeem. They were detained in clandestine torture cells for three months and severely
tortured. Dr. Imdad Baloch and his three BSO friends were later released, but Dr. Allah Nazar, Ali Nawaz and Akhtar Nadeem are still in custody
without any trial and are being tortured. Among these three, the Condition Of Dr. Allah Nazar is said to be especially grave, who is partially paralyzed
and reportedly unable to speak or recognize anyone as result of being tortured and electric shocks. His family has expressed concern that his
injuries may result in complete paralysis unless he receives immediate medical treatment in hospital. However, the authorities have reportedly
denied the men access to medical treatment."

Ali Asghar Bangulzai and his cousin Mohd Iqbal were kidnapped by Pakistani secret police on 18th October 2001 in Quetta. Mohd Iqbal was
released after 22 days but the whereabouts of Ali Asghar Bangulzai are still unknown, even after more than 5 years. Bangulzai children and relatives
are on ongoing protest and hunger strike in Front or Quetta press club for last few months. Moreover, it has been more than two years since security
police also abducted Hafiz Saeed Bangulzai, the uncle of Ali Asghar Bangulzai, and his whereabouts are still unknown too.

Gorham Baloch was
arrested by Pakistani military on 8th August 2004 when he was on his way from his native village Mand to Gwadar. He is still missing. Recently, on
22nd of September 2005, Pakistani security forces also picked up his younger brother, Abid Saleh, and no body knows where they are being kept.
On August 2005 fourteen young members of BSO were arrested in Turbat during a peaceful demonstration, and are still under illegal detention of
Turbat police.

These few cases with many others, have forced
Dr. Imdad Baloch, the Chairman of Baloch Student Organization (BSO), to go on hunger strike till
death. His demands are to release Dr. Allah Nazar, Ali Nawaz, Akhtar Nadeem, Ali Asghar Bangulzai, Hafiz Saeed Bangulzai, Abid Saleh, Gorham
Saleh, Haji Jan Mohd Marri, fourteen members of BSO and other Baloch political illegal detainees.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your urgent attention and immediate intervention can save a life and will be highly appreciated by the people of Balochistan  Please use your
influence to ask the Pakistani authorities to let all these illegal detainees go and stop its human rights violations in Balochistan against the
defenseless innocent Baloch people. We highly appreciate your kind attention, immediate intervention and moral support in this matter. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Wahid Baloch, President
Baloch Society Of North America (BSO-NA), USA.
